Termly Roundup! No.1

My Termly Roundup for the first term of my Masters course! Featuring research, printmaking, bookbinding and design.

Research endeavours involved conferences, talks, crits and exhibitions. I also did a Creative Practice swap with course mate Clay, who helped me make an accessible book while I advised them on bookbinding.

I managed to fit a lot of printmaking into this first term, using a range of methods including lino, riso and letterpress. I did projects that were a good reminder of the process and I am excited for the next projects!

My job at the Bindery coincided with my beginning the course, so it has been a lot of learning in the other part of my week as well! I managed to get well established into the space, made a few books and worked on a good bout of live briefs; sewing, repairing and observing.

I unexpectedly found myself doing some graphic design, making silly bits for projects such as a cookbook and a sandpaper book!

It was a very good start to the MA and I especially appreciated the support and fun times with my course mates. Let's go term 2!
